CURVE DI LIVELLO FOTOGRAMMETRIA.jpeg

Photogrammetry with drones allows to accurately evaluate the shape, position and size of the object or desired area by acquiring photos from multiple angles. The final output our team of engineers can deliver comes in multiple types, depending on the customer’s needs, and among these are:

  • Complete high-density 3D Model

  • 3D point cloud at the desired density

  • Level curves, detected spots, DTM, DSM, discontinuities

  • Orthophotos, sections of the object

  • Possibility to associate thermographic analysis and/or video/photo report

All outputs are delivered in the convenient exchange form to the customer, who can view and further process them with surveying, modeling and drawing software (such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, etc.).

Our team of Engineers gained remarkable experience in the field and is nowadays able to use photogrammetry with drones for 2D and 3D reconstruction of:

  • Buildings

  • Artworks

  • Lands

  • Industrial Workshop

  • Coasts

  • Bridges

  • Roads

  • Etc.

Drone Inspection Service: WHO WE ARE

_DSC0221-(1)1.jpg

Drone Inspection Service is a company that operates with success and experience in various sectors. In the field of Civil Engineering, we help local authorities, engineering, and architecture firms with drones for advanced photogrammetry which allows us to offer better quality surveys at a lower price than other methods.

Our company also operates in the photovoltaic sector by collaborating with some of the major managers of photovoltaic fields in Europe. We also operate, in collaboration with the American Hudson Analytix, in the maritime field for the use of drones in naval inspections.

All our operators are ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) certified engineers and drone pilots, and we have a constant research and development activity as well as a state-of-the-art data analysis laboratory composed of a team of industrial and process engineers and data modeling experts to guarantee our customers the best inspection and drone survey service in Italy.

The Advantages of Photogrammetry with Drones

Traditionally, when you need a survey of an area of interest, the help of a surveyor who uses ground instruments such as GPS stations is required. This work usually takes several days to do, with a rather high cost to the engineering or architecture firm. If the area to be examined is very large, this will require even more time and an even greater cost.

Today, however, thanks to technological advancement, it is possible to significantly reduce the amount of time needed and consequently the costs associated with it. In fact, the use of photogrammetry with drones allows collecting the necessary data in much less time and in greater quantities as compared to what a surveyor can do. The final output can then be delivered in a few days, resulting in significant cost savings for the customer.
